Two long-duration videos of TURBOLIFT 1 are now available on my YouTube channel. Both are in the atypical [21:9] ultrawide aspect ratio with up to 4K high resolution quality.

Based on a panel from inside the turbolift in Star Trek: Picard. The original LCARS layout was composed by ST designer Andrew Jarvis, who also created the new LCARS style upgrade for the ST: Picard series. The circuits overlay comes from another display on the show. According to source, the “circuits layout” is credited to the legendary Geoffrey Mandel.

New project development moved at a slower pace than planned over the last two months. I ended up putting focus on improving my previous project, TURBOLIFT 1. This update introduces new sound effects and a more refined ambient engine sound. I’ve also implemented a new settings section for better user customization. All settings are stored locally only.

I’m happy to share my latest project, TURBOLIFT 1. It’s a recreation of a beautiful display panel from the turbolifts in Star Trek: Picard. Kudos to the show’s art department for creating such an elegant design. I found it so compelling that I wanted to recreate it as a semi-static display. My vision is for it to run on a large, ultra-wide screen, hung on a wall like a piece of digital art.🙂
