Amazing!

Thank you for the best screen saver ever!! I do hope the bitching/moaning squad (I want better resolution, I want another sound, I want...I want...) has contributed like I did, because if not, you should just be grateful and shut the klingon up!

Love it but..

I would like to see some more options in resolutions. This would look great on my Alienware QDOLED Ultra Wide.

Lcars antigos

You had LCars from Enterprise A, Excelsior and Voyger. Is there somewhere I can download these old programs?

Three Monitor Setup

Hi All,

Allow me to say that this screensaver is frakking exceptional, and I have it running on all three of my computers. I recently moved into a new office at work, and I have two landscape and one portrait monitor. Right now, when coming on, the screensaver plays on the portrait monitor as a small box and one of the landscape monitors. Is there any way to get to play just on the two landscapes? Thanks in advance. My favourite screen saver ever.

Sound?

Fantastic! - Is there a way to remove / change the sound?

We always forget to turn off the volume and its beeping and bopping at bizarre hours or unacceptable volumes. An option for no sound would be a great help.

Also, an option for other sounds would be interesting. Something like an ambient engine idle?

Still Hanging On Exit

Multi Monitor Still Hanging On Exit, for years now. I love the screen saver but this bug is really annoying.
Please have a look at it. I'll even donate again. Thanks

System 47 working on Linux

System 47 (both viewer and screensaver) can be gotten to run on Linux. I used the latest WINE stable from wiki dot winehq dot org / Download (currently 9.0.0.0), and the latest Lutris (currently 0.5.17) from lutris dot net / downloads.

In Lutris, hit the '+' at the top-left then hit "configure locally installed game" at the bottom.

Add the name you want (eg System47 viewer, System47 Screensaver), and select Wine from the list of runners at the bottom, then click the game options tab next to the game info tab you just filled. Hit the '...' beside game executable and browse for it (for the screensaver that's the .scr file). Also for the screensaver, put '/s' without the quotes in the arguments field (if you remove it, it will take you to the Screensaver settings, so you can do this if you wish to change the config a bit, then just hit 'back' to exit and put /s in again).

If it asks you about installing Mono (.NET) or another requirement, let it install them.

Looks like you could configure something for auto screensaver using xprintidle and wmctrl if you modify what you see on the site joefreeman dot weebly dot com / using-windows-screensavers-on-linux dot html to work with Lutris (or not, it might work as-is).

Please note that I'm also running Steam with Proton, and Lutris can use the custom GE (Glorious Eggroll) Proton build I have installed there (GE-Proton-9.4 selected) BUT I think it would work fine without it as well. Heck you might not even need Lutris, that's just what I did to see it running. But this proves it's quite possible, now when will you have that warp drive operational, Scotty!!!

Getting better

Multiscreen crashes at times when coming off screensaver, have got around it by using crtl - alt - del then cancel to bring it back to homescreen, but its minor once you get used to it TBF,
the starfield would be awesome as a screensaver in multi mode, any thoughts on this?
Can i suggest using some other ships though, Seeing the Enterprise is awesome, but how about some others inclcuded, maybe defiant class, Voyager ETC, spice it up a little giving more options overall.
I ave also noticed on my other laptop the sounds comes back on after a reboot for some reason. bit bizarre but again minor thing to get aorund.
All in all though, wonderours work from what it was, keep it up
